According to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), an operation targeting the Hamas compound in Kamal Adowan Hospital in Jabaliya has concluded, resulting in arrests and the seizure of weapons.

The operation was carried out by the forces of the 460th Brigade Combat Team in the 162nd Division, who have been operating in the area in recent days. As a result, approximately 90 terrorists have been apprehended, some of whom were involved in the October 7 massacre.

The IDF reportedly destroyed terrorist infrastructure and weapon depots during the operation. Among the items discovered were Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, explosive charges, military equipment, technological equipment, and intelligence documents belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.

Inside the hospital, the Shin Bet, Israel's internal security agency, conducted investigations and interrogated employees. These employees admitted that weapons were hidden in the baby ward, specifically inside incubators that are meant to be used for treating premature babies. The Shin Bet also reported recovering weapons, classified documents, and other items within the hospital.

As part of the operation, the Shin Bet's Unit 504 interrogated the employees involved in the hiding of weapons in the baby ward. The investigation led to the discovery of additional weapons, classified documents, and tactical communication devices by forces from the 13th Fleet.

The operation near the Hamas compound in Kamal Adowan Hospital marks a significant step in dismantling terrorist infrastructure and ensuring the safety and security of the region. The IDF's efforts, in collaboration with the Shin Bet, have successfully disrupted the activities of Hamas and prevented further acts of violence.
