A recent swing state poll conducted by Bloomberg News/Morning Consult has unveiled that the 2024 GOP frontrunner, Donald Trump, is outpacing incumbent President Joe Biden in all surveyed states.
In a hypothetical rematch in Arizona, Trump is ahead of Biden by 46 to 42 percent. When independent candidate Robert F Kennedy and third-party candidates Cornel West and Jill Stein are considered, Trump still maintains the lead over Biden, his closest competitor, by 40 to 37 percent. It's worth noting that Biden clinched a narrow victory in Arizona in 2020 by a mere 0.4 percent of the vote, equating to approximately 10,000 votes.
In Georgia, Trump is leading Biden by 49 to 43 percent. This lead extends to 44 to 37 percent when the other candidates are factored in. Biden won Georgia in 2020 by a slim margin of 0.3 percent, or around 12,000 votes.
In Michigan, Trump is ahead of Biden by 46 to 42 percent among voters. This lead narrows to 39 to 35 percent when Kennedy, West, and Stein are included. Biden secured Michigan in 2020 by approximately 150,000 votes.
In Nevada, Trump is leading with 47 percent to Bidens 44 percent. This lead extends to 42 to 37 percent over Biden when Kennedy and the third-party candidates are considered. Biden won Nevada in 2020 by approximately 30,000 votes.
In North Carolina, Trump has a significant 9 point lead over Biden, garnering 49 percent support compared to Bidens 40 percent. Trump's lead expands to over 10 percent when third-party and independent candidates are included, receiving 45 percent support to Bidens 34. Trump won North Carolina in 2020 by approximately 75,000 votes.
In Pennsylvania, Trump is leading Biden by 46 to 44 percent, and 39 to 38 percent when the other candidates are factored in. Biden won Pennsylvania in 2020 by approximately 80,000 votes.
Wisconsin voters also favor Trump, with 45 percent supporting the former president compared to 41 percent for Biden. Trumps lead increases with third-party candidates included, receiving 40 percent of the support compared to Bidens 34 percent. Biden won Wisconsin in 2020 by approximately 20,000 votes.
The polls were conducted with registered voters in each state: 796 in Arizona, 801 in Georgia, 703 in Michigan, 451 in Nevada, 704 in North Carolina, 799 in Pennsylvania, and 681 in Wisconsin.
The polls in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin were conducted between November 27 and December 6. The polls in Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania were conducted between November 27 and December 5. The margin of error for the polls in Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania is 3 percent, for Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin it's 4 percent, and for Nevada, it's 5 percent.
