Sleepy Joe And The Dem Party Are Losing Tons Of Votes For This Simple Reason

Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez voiced his concerns on Fox News on Monday, stating that the Democratic voting base is increasingly seeking assistance from Republicans, feeling unrepresented by President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.

Lopez was a guest on "Jesse Watters Primetime," where he discussed the escalating issues within the Democratic base as the 2024 elections approach. Jesse Watters, the show's host, queried Lopez about the average voter's current perception of Biden.

Lopez, a Democratic representative from Chicago, expressed that voters' dissatisfaction extends beyond Biden to the "Democratic Party as a whole." He highlighted their sentiment that the party has veered "too far to the left's extreme."

"What they say about Joe Biden and indeed the entire Democratic Party as a whole is that most of the Democratic voters feel as though this party no longer represents them," Lopez stated.

He added, "That it's been lurching too far to the left to the extreme, trying to placate the socialists, the 'squad', and all the rest of them while leaving a vast majority of our voting base off in the wilderness with nowhere else to go but to the embrace of the Republican Party."

Lopez cautioned the Biden campaign that while Democratic voters are not gravitating towards the right "willingly," they feel sidelined. He emphasized the significance of these votes for swing states like Illinois.

"Which they're not doing willingly, but only because they feel they have nowhere else to go," Lopez stated. "And in a very close election which we expect to be between President Trump and President Biden again, facing off losing 10% of your base, because you push them to the side can mean all the difference in states like not just Illinois, but in all those swing states that they're going to need to win back the presidency."

Biden's approval ratings have plummeted to unprecedented lows during his first presidential term, with no signs of recovery. According to a recent TIPP poll, the president's approval ratings fell from 39% in November to 33% in December.

Notably, the approval rating among Democrat voters for the president dropped by 7.9 points, indicating a significant decline from 81.0 in November to 73.1 in December.

In addition, Biden's standing in hypothetical national polls for the 2024 elections has been dwindling, lagging behind former President Donald Trump. A recent I&I/TIPP Poll revealed that Trump now holds a roughly 2% lead, with 41% compared to Biden's 39%.
