Jon Lovitz, the comedic actor and vocal supporter of Israel, has launched a scathing attack on Senator Bernie Sanders and members of the Democratic "Squad" for their opposition to the Jewish State.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Lovitz, who is Jewish himself, referred to Sanders as the "best example" of a "self-loathing Jew" and criticized the senator's self-identification as a "Democratic Socialist" rather than a communist.

Lovitz drew a comparison between Sanders' self-description and someone claiming to be a "Jew for Jesus," stating that both were contradictory. He further explained the difference between a communist and a Democratic Socialist, highlighting that the latter is someone you vote for, who then takes your money and decides what you need, while a communist simply appoints themselves and does the same thing without an election. Lovitz also accused Sanders and the Squad of being "horribly antisemitic" and expressed his frustration with their opposition to funding Israel.

The actor mocked Sanders for owning three homes despite his $174,000 salary as a senator, using an impersonation to emphasize his point. Lovitz's Jewish friends, he claimed, referred to Sanders as a "self-loathing Jew" and questioned what was wrong with him. He criticized Sanders' stance on wealth, stating that the senator believed people should only make a certain amount of money and that he himself had three homes, which was contradictory.

Lovitz, who describes himself as socially liberal but fiscally conservative, expressed his disappointment with the Democratic Party's shift away from its historically pro-Israel stance. He specifically called out the Squad for promoting the anti-Israel Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement. Lovitz accused them of wanting to give money to Hamas instead of Israel, despite the fact that Israel is a democratic ally and a recipient of military aid from the United States. He also criticized Rep. Rashida Tlaib for her involvement in a secret Facebook group that praised Hamas and accused her of spreading lies about Israel's actions.

The actor argued that wanting to get rid of Israel is inherently antisemitic because Israel is a Jewish state. He emphasized that being against Zionism is, in fact, being against Jewishness. Lovitz singled out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, not for her stance on Israel, but for her comments about climate change and having children. He called her an "idiot" and criticized her suggestion that people of her generation should consider not having children due to climate change, pointing out that this would lead to a lack of people on Earth in the future.

When asked about the divide among liberals in Washington, D.C., and Hollywood regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, Lovitz attributed it to jealousy, fear, and misinformation. He argued that Palestinians are actually Jordanian refugees and that the name "Palestinians" was a propaganda tool introduced by Yasser Arafat in 1964. Lovitz acknowledged that Israelis and Palestinians can coexist peacefully, highlighting the fact that Israel has 1.8 million Arab-Israeli citizens who have their own political party and play a crucial role in the country's politics.

The actor criticized calls for a cease-fire, pointing out Hamas's rhetoric of never stopping until Israel is gone. He argued that it is impossible to have a cease-fire with an organization that has such intentions. Lovitz also highlighted the hostage situation and Israel's refusal to negotiate, stating that all the hostages should be returned. He expressed hope that if Hamas were removed from power, a democratic government would be established in Gaza, leading to improvements in education, healthcare, and women's rights.

Lovitz concluded by addressing the loss of innocent lives in Palestine, acknowledging that it is a tragedy but emphasizing that it is a consequence of war. He criticized Hamas for deliberately starting the conflict and preventing civilians from leaving dangerous areas. The actor attributed the lack of knowledge about the situation to misinformation and urged people to understand the complexities of the conflict.

Jon Lovitz, known for his roles in "SNL" and films like "A League of Their Own" and "Rat Race," as well as his appearances on "Funny You Should Ask," continues to use his platform to voice his support for Israel and criticize those who oppose it.
