During a recent interview on MSNBC, guest Karen Dunn shared some intriguing insights with host Jen Psaki.
The conversation revolved around the presence of white supremacists at pro-Palestinian rallies and their motivations for participating.
Psaki began by asking, "Why are white supremacists showing up at these pro-Palestinian rallies? What do they want out of this?" Dunn responded by shedding light on the white supremacist movement's ultimate goal.
"What they want is an all white ethno-state in North America. And as crazy as that sounds, that's actually an articulated goal of the Neo-Nazi and white supremacist movement in the U.S. And one of the things that helps them rally the troops is anti-Semitism," Dunn explained.
Dunn went on to highlight the recent surge in anti-Semitic incidents in the United States, which has provided an opportunity for white supremacist and Neo-Nazi groups to advance their anti-Semitic ideologies. "So, now in the U.S., we're experiencing a massive uptick in anti-Semitism incidents ... and the white supremacist Neo-Nazi groups see an opportunity to advance some of the same themes, some of the same anti-Semitic tropes, that they've been plugging away at for years," she elaborated.
However, not everyone agrees with Dunn's assessment. Dave Rubin, for instance, expressed skepticism about the presence of white supremacists at pro-Palestinian rallies. "We've looked at a lot of the videos," Rubin stated, "but we couldn't find any Neo-Nazis there." He pointed out the incongruity in Dunn's claim, stating that white supremacists typically do not associate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Rubin further criticized the narrative being propagated, asserting that there is "literally no evidence" of white supremacists attending these rallies. He suggested that the intention behind such claims is to mislead viewers into believing that it is white individuals who are supporting anti-Semitic sentiments, rather than acknowledging the reality of the situation.
