During A Speech In CA, Trump Vows To Take A 'Shot' At Crime, And Now Critics Are In A Tailspin...

In a recent speech at the California Republican Party convention, former President Donald Trump pledged to put an immediate halt to the escalating crime rates, particularly shoplifting, if he is re-elected in 2024.

Trump, who is currently the leading Republican candidate for the upcoming presidential election, delivered a stern message to criminals during his address.

"We will immediately stop all of the pillaging and theft. Very simply: If you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store," the 77-year-old former president stated emphatically. He further emphasized his point by repeating, "Shot!"

Trump believes that such a strong deterrent would quickly spread among potential criminals, transforming the nation's crime situation in a single day. "The word that they shoot you will get out within minutes and our nation, in one day, will be an entirely different place. There must be retribution for theft and destruction and the ruination of our country," he added.

The former president's tough-on-crime stance was met with applause from the audience. This is not the first time Trump has proposed such drastic measures. He has previously suggested shooting migrants to prevent them from crossing the US-Mexico border and has called for the death penalty for drug dealers, human traffickers, and anyone convicted of killing a police officer.

California has been grappling with a surge in violent crimes, including homicides, car break-ins, and drug use. The state has also seen an increase in street racing and illegal takeovers across a new bridge in Los Angeles.

"We will reverse the decline of America and we will end the desecration of your once great state, California," Trump declared. He further criticized the state, saying, "This is not a great state anymore. This is a dumping ground. Youre a dumping ground. The world is being dumped into California. Prisoners. Terrorists. Mental patients."

Trump arrived in New York City on Sunday night, ahead of his court appearance the following morning. He is facing a $250 million civil fraud case brought against him and his company by New York Attorney General Letitia James. "

Im going to Court tomorrow morning to fight for my name and reputation against a corrupt and racist Attorney General, Letitia James, who campaigned on getting Trump, and a Trump Hating Judge who is unfair, unhinged, and vicious in his PURSUIT of me," he wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.
