Talk About Cojones: Here's How Much Fauci CHARGES For Speaking Engagements

Dr.

Anthony Fauci has received heat from his critics after the public learned that Fauci charges up to $100,000 for every speaking engagement he engages in. He is now the retired NIAID director, but when he was still on the job, he was the highest-paid federal employee in the whole government, according to Fox News.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' rapid response director Christina Pushaw put out a tweet on Sunday that showed an image of the Leading Motivational Speaker's Agency's website that listed Fauci as a "motivational" and "healthcare" speaker with a price tag of between $50,000 to $100,000 per speech that he gives.

The website also describes Fauci as someone "who's career warrants execution under immense pressure that can alter the course of human existence. His work on domestic as well as global health issues has saved millions of lives. This high level of research, discovery and execution is amazing given the grave challenges he faces on a daily basis."

Critics are highly upset by all of this and state that Fauci has overinflated his ego and has promoted himself in ways that have allowed his net worth to flourish. However, they say that so much of what he claims about himself is unfounded, and they feel it is inappropriate for a former government official to capitalize on his fame like this. This is particularly true since Fauci came to the forefront during the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the biggest health disasters this country has ever faced.

Substack writer Jordan Schachtel mocked the fees that Fauci is charging by saying: "Follow The Science Starting at 50k an hour."

Kingsley Cortes, a conservative influencer and Trump 2020 campaign staffer, tweeted about it as well, saying: "The gift that keeps on gifting."

Fauci is in high demand for speech giving. He is slated to give the 2023 Yale Medical School commencement speech. He has already delivered commencement speeches at the University of Maryland, Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, and The City College of New York.

As the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Fauci earned $3.6 million between 2010 and 2019, according to Forbes. It is incredible that he is leveraging all of that to charge up to $100,000 per speech he gives to nationwide audiences. This is outrageous to many people and puts a spotlight on the grift that so many government officials appear to engage in after they leave government positions.
