Its strike two for Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger according to a report by the Daily Mail.
On Sunday morning, the action actor had a car accident in West Los Angeles involving his car and a bicyclist.
The accident came a year after his involvement in a multi-car accident in Brentwood last January. In that accident, Schwarzenegger was driving a hefty-sized GMC Yukon when he collided with another driver behind the wheel of a much smaller Toyota Prius. The Prius took the hit and began to roll, hitting a Porsche Taycan. In that accident, the woman driver had a head wound, and an ambulance took her to the hospital. Drugs or alcohol did not play a part in causing the accident, and Schwarzenegger received no charges or arrests.
In this latest accident, Arnold was driving around West Los Angeles in the morning when a bicyclist suddenly swerved into his lane and made contact with the SUV. There had been no time for Schwarzenegger to slow down. Three eyewitnesses at the scene confirmed what had happened.
First responders took the bicyclist to the hospital, where she was later reported in stable condition and expected to recover. Arnold remained on the scene to speak with the police.
Authorities launched an investigation in which the determination stated that the former California governor was clear of any charges, as it appears there was nothing he could have done to avoid the collision. TMZ reported that law enforcement claimed that Schwarzenegger was not at fault.
After everything concluded at the scene, Arnold stepped in to have the bicycle repaired. He took the damaged bicycle that had collided with his Yukon to a local bike shop for repairs.
Schwarzenegger is an avid bicyclist, often riding at the beach and along city streets.
