Completely Compromised: Intel Agency Director Attends WEF, Calls For "Partnership" Between Tech And Government

FBI Director Christopher Wray spoke at the World Economic Forum and made some eyebrow-raising statements, according to reports by The Post Millennial.

Wray gave his remarks at a private meeting with banking leaders worldwide to discuss cybersecurity and other matters important to the banking industry and beyond.

Primarily, the panel spoke about Ukraine-related issues and focused on how that war serves as an example of how Big Tech and governments can cooperate to reduce security risks at any given time around the world. However, Wrays comments about how cooperation between Big Tech and governments is what the future of security is are troubling to many people.

One of the comments that he made was:

The sophistication of the private sector is improving, [and] particularly important, the level of collaboration between the private sector and the government. Especially the FBI has, I think, made significant strides. We are focused on looking at cyber attacks.

These comments seemed to align with WEF founder Klaus Schwabs about the World Economic Forum needing to master the future through public and private partnerships.

Wray continued by saying:

We did see, as the conflict erupted, an increased effort by the Russian intelligence services, which have been conducting malicious cyber activists against infrastructure for years.

Wray feels that beneficial technology in the hands of the United States government could become a terrifying weapon if it were to fall into the hands of our enemies around the world. However, this is not something he wanted to address when he was discussing the future of Big Tech and its partnerships with governments worldwide.

Many figures joined Wray on the panel, including Wireds Gideon Lichfield moderating, Matthew Prince of Cloudflare, Jake Loosarian from Gecko Robotics, and Ukraines First Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

Even the fact that Wray showed up to speak on the panel was questionable to some. Congressman Troy Nehls sent a tweet asking why Wray was speaking at the forum. Wray gave a speech at the 2020 World Economic Forum, but that hasnt stopped some people from wondering why he is now stepping into this event. They are highly concerned about what issues Wray might discuss with the World Economic Forum.
