Border Patrol Nabs ASTRONOMICAL Number Of Migrants In First 10 Days Of August

According to unofficial reports obtained from law enforcement by Breitbart Texas, Border Patrol agents apprehended a staggering 39,324 migrants who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry during the first ten days of August.

This equates to an average of 5,708 apprehensions per day. The Tucson and Rio Grande Valley Sectors reported the highest numbers, with 10,867 and 10,465 migrant apprehensions, respectively. In total, the five Texas-based border sectors accounted for 23,119 of the 39,324 migrant apprehensions.

This surge in apprehensions comes after a sharp drop in June, as reported by the Washington Post.

In July, there was a spike in migrant apprehensions, with over 130,000 migrants being arrested. If the current rate of apprehensions continues throughout August, U.S. Customs and Border Protection could report the apprehension of nearly 177,000 migrants for the month.

These numbers highlight the ongoing challenges faced by Border Patrol agents as they work tirelessly to secure the southwest border. The influx of migrants continues to strain resources and underscores the need for comprehensive immigration reform.
