During a recent visit to Iowa, former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake took a moment to challenge the media's narrative on gender.
Seated next to a cow she was apparently milking, Lake used the opportunity to make a point about the binary nature of gender.
Turning to a group of individuals, Lake inquired if anyone was from the New York Times. A woman raised her hand, identifying herself as a representative of the outlet. Lake then asked her if she was aware that there are only two genders.
The Times reporter, camera in hand, responded by stating that she simply takes pictures. Undeterred, Lake reiterated her stance, asserting that there are indeed only two genders, a fact well-known to the people of Iowa. She then issued a challenge to the New York Times and Washington Post reporters present, inviting them to try milking a cow and then attempting the same with a bull to see the difference.
In response, the photographer mentioned that she had previously milked a cow. Lake's comments on gender reflect a growing concern among conservatives who believe that radical leftist gender ideology is divorced from reality.
While Lake may have lost the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial race to Democrat Katie Hobbs, she has not shied away from voicing her belief that the election was stolen and that she was the true winner.
Lake has been an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump and is currently serving as a surrogate for his campaign in Iowa, as he seeks to secure the Republican presidential nomination for the third consecutive cycle.
