During an interview with Tucker Carlson, former business partner of Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, discussed his assumptions regarding conversations between Hunter Biden and his father, Joe Biden.
While Archer admitted that he did not have direct knowledge of these conversations, he stated, "I would assume it," emphasizing that "no one is so unsophisticated that's been in politics for 50 years." When Carlson inquired about Archer's knowledge of Hunter Biden discussing Burisma with his father, Archer responded, "I don't have knowledge of that, though I would assume it."
Archer further explained that his assumption was based on a general sense of travel and proximity to power, rather than specific business content conversations. He clarified, "It was the idea of signals and influence, the prize is enough in speaking or hearing or knowing that you have that proximity to power." According to Archer, it is unlikely that Hunter Biden would engage in detailed discussions about the business operations of Burisma, such as gas production figures.
Archer expressed frustration with the narrative surrounding the Biden family, stating, "I think a lot of the narrative gets caught up on, you know, over speculation of these conspiracy theories that are just not true. It just doesn't work like that." He believed that the focus should be on the influence and access that comes with being in proximity to power, rather than specific business dealings.
Carlson responded by highlighting the significance of being present during a meal at Lake Como with Ukrainian associates while Joe Biden happened to have them on speakerphone. He argued that such proximity to the second most powerful man in the world was enough to understand how the world operates.
In this interview, Archer's assumptions shed light on the dynamics of the Biden family's connections and the influence that comes with being in proximity to political power. While he did not have direct knowledge of specific conversations, Archer's insights provide valuable context to the ongoing discussions surrounding the Biden family's business dealings.
