Very Sketchy: Massive Fire OBLITERATES Egg Farm In Connecticut (Video)

Eggs are now considered a luxury item as prices continue to skyrocket.

Part of the problem is Bidens inflation. Another culprit is the massive egg shortage that plagues the nation. Now, things will get worse for Americans who want this staple. In Bozrah, Connecticut, several fire crews were called to the scene to put out the massive fire at an egg farm named Hillensdale Farm.

The fire was so large that it caused massive water issues. The Colchester Fire Department had to call in extra water tankers to put out the blaze. However, that still wasnt enough.

According to NBC, Crews from 16 surrounding departments including Colchester, East Haddam, Salem, Gardner Lake, Lebanon, Franklin, Yantic and Sterling, Taftville, Montville, Oakdale, and Lisbon, and more than 100 firefighters total responded to the scene.

The fire was so massive that the Salvation Army provided food and beverages to the large crews of men working to put it out.

This isnt the first fire at an egg farm that weve seen in recent months. In the past year, the prices of eggs have soared over 65%, leading to many consumers doing without or searching for egg alternatives.

No one was injured in the fire that we know of. The cause also has yet to be determined. Although they are still assessing damage, a video was posted by Colchester Fire Department. In the video, it looks like there is significant damage to the chicken coup.

Per NBC, Firefighters said the fire was in a 50-foot by 600-foot operating chicken coop at Hillandale Farms on Schwartz Road. These were hens laying eggs at the farm, so we can expect the price of eggs to continue to make them a luxury item for the average American.
