An upcoming national observance is being framed as a spiritual milestone, aiming to tell the story of Gods hand in America throughout 250 years, and to rededicate our nation as one nation under God."

According to WND, Brittany Baldwin, executive director of the White House Task Force 250, outlined plans for Rededicate250, a May 17 event that will spotlight the central role of faith in the American story. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R?La., will lead the formal act of rededication, underscoring the alignment between constitutional governance and the nations Judeo-Christian heritage.

It is a powerful statement that the Trump administration celebrates our Judeo-Christian roots and the fact that that has enabled our society to flourish in a plethora of ways, including respecting religious liberty of Americans of all religions, Baldwin said. Her remarks reflect a conservative conviction that Americas success and freedoms are inseparable from its biblical foundations, not from expanding federal power or secular ideology.

The program will feature video messages from President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, along with a historical address by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth on George Washington as both statesman and man of God. By elevating Washingtons faith and moral leadership, organizers intend to counter modern efforts to erase religion from public life.

Asked what viewers can expect from Trumps remarks, Baldwin said he is expected to emphasize the enduring influence of religion on the nations character and resilience. I think hell most likely talk about how religion has always played an important role in our country, and how we need Americans of faith to continue to strengthen and sustain our country, and that under his leadership theyre no longer being persecuted, but instead are being embraced and strengthened, she said.
