Watch: ExGreen Beret Explodes At Dan Bongino In Shocking Public Meltdown

Written by Published

Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a key ally tapped by President Trump to help overhaul the scandal-plagued bureau, became the target of a tense and very public confrontation over the weekend.

The clash erupted when Bongino was approached by Joseph Phillip Daniel, a conservative Christian street preacher previously featured alongside Ivan Raiklin, a constitutional attorney and former Army Green Beret. According to WND, Daniel immediately challenged Bonginos courage, shouting, Dont be a coward, Dan, as security personnel moved in and warned, Youre going to be trespassed from the property, OK?

Daniel refused to back down, framing his rebuke in explicitly religious terms and urging Bongino to wage a more aggressive fight against entrenched Washington power. Gods watching you, man. Remember, we reap what we sow. Gods watching us. Go all out against the deep state. Dont be afraid. Dont be afraid of Satan, man, he declared, echoing the frustration of many conservatives who believe federal institutions remain captured by the deep state despite President Trumps reform efforts.

The exchange clearly struck a nerve with Bongino, who responded sharply and turned the challenge back on his critic. Why dont you volunteer yourself? Why dont you do it? he shot back, underscoring a common conservative complaint that too many critics demand action from others while avoiding personal risk.

Daniel replied that he was prepared to step into the arena himself, even claiming he intended to run for Congress. Im telling you, Im ready. Im ready to be in Congress, he said, prompting Bongino to press him again: Why dont you put your name on it go volunteer.

Daniel insisted he was serious, adding, Im ready. Im filing. Im not afraid of Hillary. Im not. God bless you, man. The back-and-forth highlighted a growing divide on the right between those who see figures like Bongino as insufficiently aggressive and those who argue that real change requires more than viral confrontations.

The situation escalated further when Raiklin joined in, unleashing a stream of accusations and vulgarities at Bongino. He branded the former FBI official a pedophile protector and sneered, Go volunteer You wont do s***, before shouting, I was a cop for nine years. You are a pedophile protector, and adding more expletives as security escorted Bongino away.

Bongino, who served as the FBIs No. 2 official from March 2025 to January 2026, had already announced in December that he would step down and return to private life. His departure followed a tumultuous tenure in which he attempted to push reforms from within a bureaucracy many conservatives view as hostile to President Trump and his supporters.

His public life has also been marked by a serious health battle. In 2020, he was diagnosed with a type of cancer affecting the lymphatic system, underwent surgery to remove a tumor in his neck, and received further treatment.

By 2021, Bongino announced he had beaten the disease, crediting early detection and medical care, a reminder that behind the political drama stands a man who has already faced down life-threatening odds. For many on the right, the real question now is whether the energy of critics like Daniel and Raiklin will translate into constructive action, or simply deepen divisions at a moment when conservatives are still fighting to reclaim and restrain a sprawling federal security apparatus.
