Trump Vows To Have Some Fun Suing Trevor Noah As FBI, DOJ Records Undercut Grammys Epstein Smear

The latest Grammy Awards, long a showcase for progressive politics as much as pop music, have now sparked a fierce backlash from President Donald Trump after a joke he says crossed the line into outright defamation.

According to Western Journal, the flashpoint came when host Trevor Noah tried to turn the long-running scandal surrounding Jeffrey Epstein into a punchline at Trumps expense. Speaking while introducing the song of the year award, Noah quipped, That is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epsteins island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton, according to a video posted to X.

The remark, delivered to a Hollywood crowd eager for anti-Trump humor, immediately drew sharp condemnation from the President.

Trump, who has long criticized awards shows as vehicles for left-wing virtue signaling, blasted the broadcast and its host in a series of posts on Truth Social. The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer, Trump posted, making clear his disdain for what many conservatives see as a politicized entertainment industry.

He then zeroed in on Noah personally, rejecting the Epstein insinuation as both false and malicious. The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards. Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! Trump wrote, underscoring that the lefts favorite late-night and awards-show personalities are, in his view, serial offenders when it comes to smearing political opponents.

Trump went further, stressing that even his fiercest media critics have never credibly tied him to Epsteins private island. I cant speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonights false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media, he continued. For a media and entertainment class that routinely lectures the public about disinformation, Trumps point was clear: the Grammys had just broadcast a claim that even hostile outlets have not dared to make as fact.

The president then raised the prospect of legal action, signaling he is prepared to fight back in court rather than simply absorb the hit. Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. It looks like Ill be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$. Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out. Also ask CBS! Trump wrote, invoking his past legal battles with media figures and networks.

He closed his message with a warning that sounded more like a promise. Get ready Noah, Im going to have some fun with you! President DJT. For conservatives who have grown weary of one-sided attacks from Hollywood elites, Trumps willingness to confront the entertainment establishment remains a central part of his appeal.

Noah did not confine his jabs to Trump alone, also targeting rapper Nicki Minaj, who has angered the left by openly expressing support for the president. Nicki Minaj is not here. She is not here. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues, he said in another clip posted to X, mocking both Minajs political independence and Trumps outreach to nontraditional Republican voters.

Yet the factual record surrounding Epstein undercuts the narrative Noah tried to sell from the Grammy stage. Although Trumps name appeared in the roughly three million pages of documents released Friday by the Justice Department, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche emphasized that in none of these communications, even when doing his best to disparage President Trump, did Epstein suggest President Trump had done anything criminal or had any inappropriate contact with any of his victims, according to Fox News.

A 2021 FBI document cited by CNN similarly failed to support the lefts preferred storyline, even as it described an encounter at a party. The report noted that one of Epsteins victims said Ghislaine Maxwell presented her to Trump and indicated she was available, but the victim said nothing happened between her and Trump.

In the end, the Grammys once again showcased an entertainment industry more interested in scoring partisan points than in respecting basic standards of fairness or evidence. While Hollywood insiders cheer such attacks, the official records from federal investigators and victim testimony tell a different storyone that, so far, vindicates Trumps insistence that attempts to tie him to Epsteins crimes are nothing more than politically motivated fiction.
