Californias Sick Joke: Satanist Pedophile Basically Walks Now DOJ Prosecutors Are Circling!

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is contemplating the possibility of levying federal charges against a self-proclaimed Satanist pedophile, Gregory Kornman, who received a lenient sentence in California.

This information was exclusively shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation by Bill Essayli, First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California.

According to the Daily Caller, Kornman, a former substitute schoolteacher, was sentenced to eight years in prison by a San Luis Obispo County court in October for possessing and distributing thousands of child pornography files. However, California law permits him to serve only half of this sentence, as per the office of San Luis Obispo District Attorney Dan Dow.

Essayli, an appointee of President Donald Trump, expressed his readiness to intervene in the situation.

"Four years in prison for this horrific and disturbing conduct is inexcusable, and is yet another documented failure of the State of California to keep the public safe," Essayli stated. He further added, "I have instructed my office to review this case and determine if there are any federal charges we can bring to ensure this individual remains in custody."

Kornman's arrest in March, while employed by the Bonita Unified School District in San Dimas, led to an investigation that revealed his sinister intentions. Law enforcement discovered more than 3,000 videos and images of child pornography on his devices, including infant abuse. His messages indicated plans to purchase a windowless van for the purpose of kidnapping and abusing children.

Kornman identified himself as a member of an online "Satanic pedo brotherhood" and expressed sadistic fantasies in conversations with other pedophiles. He reportedly reveled in the sound of children crying and screaming, referring to it as "music to my ears," according to court documents cited by the San Luis Obispo Tribune. Police reportedly found sex toys and a human-sized cage in his residence that could not be unlocked from the inside.

"I thank Father Satan every single fucking day for designing me to be a sadistic no-limits pedo!" Kornman wrote in one message. At the time of his arrest, he reportedly had multiple hard drugs in his system.

Kornman had previously worked with kindergarten and middle school students at the Bonita Unified School District in Santa Maria. California law allows certain criminals to receive double the credit for time served, effectively halving their sentences. This law, signed by former Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown in 2011, extends to registered sex offenders like Kornman.

At the time of his child pornography crimes, Kornman was already on probation, mandatory supervision, post-release community supervision, and parole. The district attorneys office requested an eight-year sentence, five years below the maximum allowed, because Kornman accepted responsibility for his crime by pleading guilty. District Attorney Dow, a Republican, described the subsequent sentencing as "disappointing."

"While this will remove him from our community for only four years, it should protect our children from his stated intent for that time, after which he will be released on parole," Dow stated in an October announcement. He emphasized his office's commitment to aggressively prosecuting those who exploit children and to protecting society's most vulnerable members.
