Controversial Photos Surface Linking Tim Walz And Ilhan Omar To Somali Fraudster

In a recent revelation, photographs have emerged featuring Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, a Democrat, and Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota's 5th congressional district, in the company of Abdul Dahir Ibrahim, a Somali illegal immigrant with a history of fraud convictions.

According to Fox News, Ibrahim was previously found guilty of asylum and welfare fraud in Canada, highlighting the systemic failures of immigration control across North America. After being deported from Canada in 1995, he reportedly entered the United States through New York.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has stated that deportation orders were not issued for Ibrahim in the U.S. until 2004. "Bye-bye, Abdul," read a DHS post, marking his arrest 21 years later.

During his extended stay in the U.S., Ibrahim accumulated numerous traffic and parking violations. As reported by the New York Post, one such violation involved driving without a valid license in Minnesota in 2002. He was also apprehended for providing false information to law enforcement officers, resulting in a fine and a year of probation.

Ibrahim's presence in the United States also included interactions with significant political figures in Minnesota, such as Governor Walz, Representative Omar, and unsuccessful Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh. These encounters were documented in photographs posted by the DHS, showing Ibrahim in close proximity to these Democratic Party luminaries.

The emergence of these photographs, featuring Walz and Omar alongside the illegal Somali immigrant convicted of fraud, could not have come at a more inconvenient time for the Minnesota Democrats. Governor Walz is currently under intense scrutiny, with growing demands for an investigation into his role in the state's burgeoning multi-billion-dollar welfare fraud schemes. As reported by RedState, these schemes, involving taxpayer-funded fraud across various public assistance programs, could total over $8 billion.

A significant portion of this fraud is alleged to have been committed by members of Minnesota's large Somali community. Representative Omar, who migrated to the U.S. in 1995 after her family fled the civil war in Somalia, has been a vocal advocate for this community. While she has not been directly implicated in any of these fraud scandals, the recent photographic evidence and reports suggest she is acquainted with individuals involved in these fraudulent activities.

RedState Editor Bob Hoge has revealed that Omar "has strong relationships with at least two scammers." These individuals are Salim Ahmed Said, who hosted Omar's 2018 campaign victory party at his restaurant, and Guhaad Hashi Said, who worked on the "Squad" members' campaigns in 2018 and 2020. Salim was reportedly convicted on 21 counts in March, including wire fraud, federal programs bribery, and money laundering, after pocketing $5 million. Guhaad pleaded guilty in August after falsely claiming to serve 5,000 meals a day to earn benefits from Minnesota's Feeding Our Future program, pocketing a substantial $3.2 million.

When questioned by CNN about the alleged widespread fraud, Omar struggled to provide a clear explanation. "I think what happened, um, is that, you know, when you have these, kind of new programs that are, um, designed to help people, you're oftentimes relying on third parties to be able to facilitate," Omar told Jake Tapper. "And I just think that a lot of the COVID programs that were set up they were set up so quickly that a lot of the guardrails did not get created."

Despite the mounting evidence and allegations, neither Omar nor Walz have been directly accused of any wrongdoing in relation to the Minnesota Somali fraud scandal. However, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem has accused Walz of either being "an idiot" or intentionally allowing the fraud to occur under his watch.

With the release of these incriminating photographs and the escalating welfare fraud scandal in Minnesota, questions are being raised about the extent of corruption in the state. The revelations underscore the need for a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure accountability and uphold the integrity of the state's governance.
