Putin Swears He Wants Peace With Europe, Seconds Later Says Russia Is Ready To Fight Now!

In a series of provocative statements, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that should war erupt, Russia would decisively eliminate its European adversaries, leaving "nobody to negotiate with."

Despite these aggressive remarks, he simultaneously asserted Russia's peaceful intentions and desire to avoid conflict.

As reported by Breitbart, President Putin made these comments shortly before engaging in high-level discussions with U.S. representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. During this dialogue, he criticized European NATO members, accusing them of hindering the peace process.

While portraying Russia as peace-seeking, he insisted that any potential conflict would be instigated by Europe, not Moscow. "We are not going to fight Europe. I have said this a hundred times," he stated, further warning, "but if Europe wants to start a war, Russia is ready right now."

Putin's rhetoric suggested that a Russian offensive against Europe would be overwhelming and unrestrained, leaving no one for Russia to negotiate with. He remarked, "If Europe suddenly starts a war with us, I think it will end very quickly. This is not Ukraine. With Ukraine, we are acting with surgical precision, carefully. This is not a war in the direct, modern sense of the word."

Despite Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, President Putin shifted the blame for potential conflict onto Europe, accusing Western nations of siding with war and obstructing peace efforts with proposals "not acceptable to Russia." He claimed, "Europe is preventing the U.S. from achieving peace in Ukraine."

The talks on Tuesday night, which lasted five hours, were described by the Russian side as "useful, constructive, and very informative." However, they ultimately failed to yield a significant breakthrough. The Kremlin noted that some proposals were unacceptable to Moscow, and no compromise was reached.

President Putin's pre-meeting criticisms of Europe were reiterated during the discussions, with Russian state media documenting his grievances about "the destructive actions that we see from the Europeans in the context of the settlement" to the American delegation.

No additional meetings were scheduled, and a direct engagement with President Trump did not materialize. Moscow indicated that future discussions would proceed via telephone, leaving the situation unresolved and highlighting the ongoing tensions between Russia and its European neighbors.
