On Notice: Anyone Pardoned By Bidens Autopen Shouldnt Count On It Lasting

President Donald Trump has taken a bold step by declaring numerous actions undertaken by Joe Biden as "null, void, and of no further force or effect," due to the use of an autopen.

This announcement, made on Truth Social, highlights Trump's ongoing scrutiny of Biden's presidency, particularly concerning the legitimacy of documents signed with a mechanical device that replicates a stored signature.

Trump initially targeted pardons issued to members of the House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, but has now extended his declaration to other actions involving the autopen, including pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired Army Gen. Mark Milley, and members of the Biden family.

According to the Daily Caller, Trump emphasized the invalidity of these documents in his post, stating, "Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized AUTOPEN, within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect." He further advised recipients of such documents that they "have been fully and completely terminated, and are of no Legal effect."

The Oversight Project, a watchdog organization, has also raised concerns about the use of the autopen. In a post on X, they claimed to have gathered documents bearing Biden's signature throughout his presidency, noting that all but one used the autopen. The exception was the announcement of Biden's decision not to seek the Democratic nomination for president, dated July 21, 2024. The nonprofit shared images comparing autopen signatures to the signature on that letter, fueling further skepticism about the authenticity of Biden's signed documents.

Despite Trump's declaration, the pardon issued to Hunter Biden on December 1, 2024, remains unaffected, as it was personally signed by Joe Biden, according to a White House statement. This development comes amid growing questions about Biden's health and the transparency of the White House. A Wall Street Journal article from December 19, 2024, revealed that Biden's aides had "insulated" him from even his Cabinet members as his health declined, echoing earlier reports by the same outlet.

The use of an autopen raises significant concerns about the authenticity and legality of actions taken by the Biden administration. As questions about Biden's health and the transparency of his presidency continue to surface, the implications of Trump's declaration and the Oversight Project's findings could have far-reaching consequences.
