Trump Rejects Fake News Claim About Naming Ballroom After Himself

President Donald Trump has dismissed allegations from the "fake news" media that he intends to christen the newly planned White House ballroom with his own name.

This assertion comes amid significant renovations under his leadership, which have seen the Oval Office receive a lavish gold makeover, the Rose Garden's lawn paved over, and the East Wing undergoing substantial demolition to accommodate the grand ballroom.

According to Mediaite, ABC News recently reported that officials within the administration have already begun referring to the new structure as "The President Donald J. Trump Ballroom," suggesting that this moniker might become permanent. However, President Trump, addressing reporters on the South Lawn before his departure to Malaysia, firmly denied these claims.

He also hinted that the project's expenses could surpass the $300 million estimate.

In his remarks, President Trump stated, "Well, weve raised a lot. Weve raised over $350 million. Its a beautiful room, a big room. I dont have any plan to call it after myself, that was fake news. Probably gonna call it the Presidential Ballroom or something like that. We havent really thought about a name yet."

He further elaborated on the potential costs, saying, "Well, it could even be more than that. Probably, possibly, assuming we can do that. You know, were building the ark, and maybe we use it for the ark."

The President's comments suggest a focus on the grandeur and utility of the ballroom, with a nod to its potential role in future endeavors, such as the proposed "arc" project. As the renovations continue, the final name and purpose of this new addition to the White House remain subjects of speculation and interest.
