In a decisive move against organized crime, federal agents executed a significant operation in Wisconsin, apprehending 22 individuals and confiscating a substantial amount of drugs, firearms, and vehicles.

This meticulously planned initiative, known as "Operation Chalkline," was spearheaded by the FBI's Milwaukee division and involved the collaboration of 14 SWAT teams alongside numerous law enforcement agencies. The primary focus of this operation was to dismantle violent criminal networks entrenched in Milwaukee and Racine, Wisconsin.

As reported by Breitbart, the FBI disclosed details of this extensive multi-agency operation targeting cartel-affiliated gangs within the state. The coordinated effort resulted in the arrest of 22 suspects on federal charges.

Law enforcement officials executed 24 federal search warrants, which led to the seizure of four kilograms of cocaine, 260 grams of fentanyl, 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, six pounds of marijuana, 23 firearms, and three vehicles, according to a statement from the FBI's Milwaukee office.

FBI Director Kash Patel took to social media to highlight the success of the Operation Chalkline task force, describing it as "one of our most significant violent gang takedowns to date." He commended the law enforcement teams for their "outstanding work."

The investigation preceding the operation was led by Task Force Officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department, in conjunction with the FBI Milwaukee Area Safe Streets Task Force. This task force includes officers from the Caledonia Police Department, Mount Pleasant Police Department, Racine County Sheriff's Office, and Racine Police Department.

"FBI Milwaukee continues to prioritize crushing violent crime together with our law enforcement partners to ensure public safety and security in Milwaukee, Racine, and throughout the state of Wisconsin," officials posted on X.

In a related development, FBI Milwaukee had previously reported on an ICE-led operation in Manitowoc County in late September, which resulted in the arrest of 21 illegal aliens. Notably, nine of these individuals were targeted for their alleged involvement in the sexual assault and/or trafficking of minor American girls.

The FBI has confirmed that the violent gang operations in Wisconsin have "direct connections to a major international cartel," though specific details regarding the cartel's identity remain undisclosed. This operation underscores the ongoing commitment of federal and local law enforcement agencies to combat organized crime and safeguard communities across Wisconsin.
