Barron Trump has returned to the White House as he embarks on his sophomore year at New York University's Washington, D.
C. campus.
The 19-year-old, who stands at an impressive 6 feet 9 inches, previously attended NYU's main campus in Greenwich Village, commuting from Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. Now, Barron will pursue his studies in closer proximity to his parents, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.
As reported by One America News, President Trump has expressed pride in his son, stating, "Hes a great guy. Hes a little on the tall side. I will tell you, hes a tall one. But he is a good-looking guy, and hes really been a great student. And he does like politics. Its sort of funny."
Barron is set to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) through the Stern Executive MBA program at NYU Washington, D.C., a selective program with an annual intake of only 120 students. By residing at the White House, Barron is expected to save between $7,317 and $9,513 in on-campus housing fees.
On campus, Barron has been spotted in casual attire, accompanied by a plainclothes security detail for his protection. Despite his presence in Washington, he has not been seen at official White House events with his father since attending the inauguration in January.
Meanwhile, Melania Trump is anticipated to return to the White House to be with her son, having spent the previous year in New York. Her role as First Lady has expanded during President Trump's second term, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) policy.
In a historic move, Melania Trump became the first First Lady to sign legislation alongside a sitting president when she endorsed the Take It Down Act in May. This legislation prohibits non-consensual imagery, including "revenge pornography" and AI-generated content. Additionally, she is spearheading a school AI challenge, encouraging students to propose innovative uses for this burgeoning technology.
The Trump family's return to the White House marks a significant chapter in their ongoing influence on American politics and policy. As Barron continues his academic journey, the First Lady's involvement in AI policy highlights the administration's commitment to addressing contemporary technological challenges.
