Pam Bondi Boots DOJ Paralegal After Vulgar Attack On National Guard

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the termination of a Department of Justice paralegal following several incidents of misconduct directed at National Guard members stationed in Washington, D.

C.

The paralegal, Elizabeth Baxter, was relieved of her duties after an internal investigation revealed repeated inappropriate behavior towards the service members.

As reported by Breitbart, Bondi disclosed that Baxter, a paralegal specialist in the DOJs Environment and Natural Resources Division, admitted to a DOJ security guard on August 18 that she had made an obscene gesture and verbally insulted a National Guard member at Metro Center station.

Surveillance footage from the same day allegedly captured Baxter repeating the gesture outside the DOJs 4CON building while shouting profanities at the guardsmen. A week later, on August 25, Baxter reportedly made similar remarks to a DOJ security guard upon entering the building. The investigation included a review of witness statements and security video.

In a memorandum of removal issued Friday evening, Bondi informed Baxter of her immediate dismissal from her position as Paralegal Specialist, GS-0950-11, in the Environmental Defense Section of the Environment and Natural Resources Division. The letter cited inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members as the reason for her removal and outlined Baxters right to appeal through the Merit Systems Protection Board within 30 days.

Bondi confirmed the decision in a social media post, stating, Today, I took action to terminate a DOJ employee for inappropriate conduct towards National Guard service members in DC. @TheJusticeDept remains committed to defending President Trumps agenda and fighting to make America safe again. If you oppose our mission and disrespect law enforcement you will NO LONGER work at DOJ.

This dismissal follows the recent firing of another DOJ employee, Sean Charles Dunn, who faced accusations of throwing a sandwich at a federal officer and shouting insults at law enforcement in Washington. Dunn, a paralegal in the DOJs Criminal Division, was charged with misdemeanor assault after a grand jury declined to indict him on felony counts.

Bondi has characterized these cases as part of her broader initiative to restore accountability within the Department of Justice. This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ, she remarked following Dunns removal.

These actions coincide with President Trump's federal law-and-order initiative in Washington, D.C. Earlier this month, the President invoked section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act to place the Metropolitan Police Department under direct federal control and activated the National Guard.

Since the initiative's implementation, Bondi has reported over 1,000 arrests and the seizure of more than 100 illegal firearms, noting a significant decline in violent crime across the city.

President Trump and senior officials, including Bondi, have publicly expressed gratitude to law enforcement and the National Guard for their contributions, even hosting a dinner featuring pizza and hamburgers in their honor earlier this month.
