San Francisco Chaos: Keffiyeh-Clad Protester Threatens To Stab ICE Agent!

In a disturbing incident outside a San Francisco courthouse, a group of approximately 20 anti-ICE demonstrators launched an assault on immigration agents.

The confrontation, which occurred on Wednesday, saw one protester, identified as Adrian Guerrero, allegedly brandishing a knife and threatening to harm an officer and his family, as reported by officials.

According to Fox News, Guerrero, a U.S. citizen, was involved in slashing the tire of a government vehicle during the altercation at the immigration courthouse located on 100 Montgomery Street. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) detailed that the clash erupted as ICE agents were conducting a removal operation, during which protesters encircled them, physically attacking four officers with punches and pepper spray.

Guerrero, standing in close proximity to the officers, issued multiple threats, stating, "Im going to f--- you up," "Im going to go after your family," and "Im going to stab you," as per DHS court filings. At the time of his apprehension, Guerrero was found in possession of a knife, orange-tinted goggles, and a keffiyeh, a scarf often linked to pro-Palestinian activism. The agents suffered injuries from the pepper spray, with one officer sustaining a jammed finger.

The charges against Guerrero include assault on a federal officer and destruction of government property, as confirmed by DHS. The U.S. Federal Protective Services, alongside San Francisco police, responded promptly to the scene, assisting in dispersing the crowd.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem highlighted the alarming rise in assaults on ICE agents, noting a 1,000% increase and labeling the perpetrators as "the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens." She attributed the violence to "sanctuary politicians rhetoric vilifying our law enforcement," asserting, "We will not let this violence stop us or slow us down.

Every day, our law enforcement continues to enforce the law and arrest the most depraved criminals, including pedophiles, terrorists, murderers, gang members, and sexual predators."

The Montgomery Street courthouse has been a recurring hotspot for violent encounters between protesters and ICE agents. Last month, footage emerged of similar confrontations outside the court.

Protesters have consistently criticized ICE's practice of detaining individuals at courthouses, arguing that the use of plainclothes officers and unmarked vehicles instills fear and diminishes accountability.

This attack follows a series of violent riots in Los Angeles, where ICE agents were similarly targeted during courthouse protests. DHS has noted a significant nationwide increase in attacks on its officers, reflecting a growing trend of hostility towards immigration enforcement.
