Ryan Rhodes, the visionary behind the Iowa Tea Party, has announced his candidacy for Congress with a mission to "Make America Iowa."
This slogan underscores his commitment to promoting the industrious values of Iowa, which he contrasts with the socialist ideals represented by Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh. Rhodes is vying for a seat in Iowa's fourth congressional district, a position currently held by Rep. Randy Feenstra, who is pursuing the governorship of Iowa.
According to Breitbart, Rhodes articulated his motivation for entering the race, emphasizing the importance of standing up for Iowans when leadership is needed. His political experience includes serving as the presidential state director for Dr. Ben Carson in Iowa. Rhodes passionately declared, "Iowa is the most American state in the country," a sentiment that fuels his campaign's central message.
The fourth congressional district of Iowa is known for its conservative leanings, and Rhodes aims to bring these values to the national stage.
He draws a stark contrast between Iowa's ethos and what he describes as the "Islamo-Communist" values of Omar Fateh. Rhodes stated, "Iowa has good moral values; were hard workers. We dont want men in womens sports. Were not looking to be a third-world country."
Rhodes further expressed his determination to resist external influences that seek to impose their values on Iowans. "When these places are trying to push their values on us, its time to stop, and its time for us to push back," he asserted. He also criticized the political climate in Minneapolis, noting,
"Omar Fateh is leading the way in getting the endorsement because Mayor Jacob Frey, who was bowing down to the BLM, was still not good enough. Now, they have to go off the third rail for the Somali-Islamo-Communists weve imported."
