Trump White House Drops Savage Meme After Daily Beast Intern Mocks Him As Feminine

In a world where surviving a gunshot might seem to grant one an unassailable claim to masculinity, a Daily Beast writer appears to have missed the memo.

Amber Levis, in her article titled Trump Dragged for MAGA Claim He Is Opposite of Feminine, took aim at Charlie Kirk, co-founder and executive director of Turning Point USA, for his portrayal of President Trump's masculinity. Levis leaned on responses from liberal users on X to challenge Kirk's assertions.

According to Gateway Pundit, Kirk's depiction of President Trump as "ultra masculine" was based on his association with symbols of power and wealth, such as a "red tie, big plane, super rich, supermodel wife."

Levis, however, highlighted President Trump's penchant for appearances, opulent decor, and dramatic flair, noting, Some have found it too tempting to compare Trumps gaudy ballroom-in-progress with camp drag balls.

She further cited posts mocking President Trump for traits perceived as 'feminine,' including an affinity for interior design, musical theater, and dancing, with one user labeling him a drag queen for straight men.

In an attempt to elicit a reaction, Levis reached out to the White House for comment, seemingly anticipating a flustered response. However, the White House, through Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson, delivered a succinct retort. Jackson remarked that some requests are so absurd that they merit only a meme in response, underscoring the administration's dismissal of the inquiry.

This exchange underscores the ongoing cultural debate surrounding traditional gender roles and the portrayal of masculinity in the public sphere. While some may view President Trump's style as flamboyant, others see it as a testament to his confidence and individuality, reflecting broader conservative values of self-expression and personal freedom.
