Watch: Tom Homan Calls Out Margarita-Loving Senator Chris Van Hollen For His Embarrassing ICE Sit-In Stunt!

In a recent incident, Tom Homan, the Border Czar, has vehemently criticized Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and a group of Democrats following their unsuccessful attempt to stage a sit-in outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Baltimore.

The group, which included Sen. Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) and Democratic Maryland Representatives Kweisi Mfume, Glenn Ivey, Johnny Olszewski, and Sarah Elfreth, had sought to tour the George H. Fallon federal building but were denied entry.

According to RedState, this incident is part of a recurring pattern in which Democrats fabricate allegations of abuse, claim to be investigating these allegations, assert their right to inspect ICE facilities, and then express outrage to the media when denied access. This cycle, it seems, is a standard part of the resistance playbook.

Van Hollen, who was captured looking visibly disappointed, was part of the group that held a sit-in in response to the denial of entry. The group's actions have been criticized as being more about performance than about substantive action for the people. Homan, in particular, has been vocal in his criticism, describing Van Hollen as "an embarrassment to the position he holds."

In a conversation with Fox & Friends host Lawrence Jones, Homan discussed Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's response to Van Hollen. Noem had posted mugshots of criminal illegal aliens whom Van Hollen and his group were allegedly trying to protect. These individuals had been charged with various serious crimes, including rape and possession of child pornography.

Homan fired back at the Democrats, stating, "The Democrats are upset because we're proving every day what a national security threat, a public safety threat, the Biden Administration allowed. And he was silent." He added, "Him and the other Democrat leaders were silent while women and children were being sex trafficked at record numbers. A record number of Americans dying from fentanyl. A record number of known suspected terrorists coming across the border."

Homan further criticized the Democrats for their alleged embarrassment over the exposure of their actions and their attempts to mislead the American people. He stated, "They're embarrassed because we are proving exactly what they did, and President Trump is keeping his promise to the American people, and they cant stand it. They want to flip the script. They want to mis-message to the American people. Well, its not working."

Sen. John Kennedy also weighed in on the incident, dismissing the Democrats' sit-in as a publicity stunt. He said, "It's just a publicity stunt. They're interested in being denied and having you (the media) cover it."

In a final twist, it was revealed that the ICE facility where Van Hollen and his group staged their photo-op was not a detention facility, as they had claimed, but an office used to process those who have been arrested. This revelation further underscores the criticism that the Democrats' actions were more about optics than about substantive action.
