The Department of Justice has unveiled a new Strike Force aimed at scrutinizing claims put forth by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard concerning the "alleged weaponization of the U.S. intelligence community."

This initiative marks a significant step in addressing the contentious allegations surrounding the integrity of intelligence operations in the United States.

As reported by The Post Millennial, the DOJ has not disclosed specific allegations under investigation. However, this development follows Gabbard's assertions that President Barack Obama orchestrated a "years-long coup" against the American populace. She claims that Obama directed the creation of a fabricated intelligence report, which suggested Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

During a White House briefing, Gabbard stated, "The evidence that we have found and that we have released directly points to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment," referencing the report issued shortly before President Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017.

When questioned about potential criminal implications for Obama, Gabbard affirmed, "We have referred and will continue to refer all of these documents to the Department of Justice and the FBI to investigate the criminal implications of this."

She reiterated, "The evidence that we have found and that we have released directly point to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment. There are multiple pieces of evidence and intelligence that confirm that fact."

Attorney General Pam Bondi expressed the DOJ's commitment to a thorough investigation, stating, "The Department of Justice is proud to work with my friend Director Gabbard and we are grateful for her partnership in delivering accountability for the American people." She emphasized the department's dedication to examining these "troubling disclosures" comprehensively.

The Strike Force is tasked with evaluating all available evidence and determining the appropriate legal actions to uphold justice and transparency.
