New Details: Comey And Wife Were Surveilled By Feds After Trump Assassination Post!

The former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), James Comey, and his wife, Patrice, were reportedly trailed by law enforcement officials following a controversial social media post by Comey, which was interpreted by some as a veiled threat against President Donald Trump.

The question that arises now is, why haven't any charges been filed?

According to Gateway Pundit, Comey was under scrutiny for a cryptic Instagram post in May, which some interpreted as a call for Trump's assassination. The post featured a photo of a peculiar arrangement of seashells on a beach, with the caption, "Cool shell formation on my beach walk."

Comey defended his post, explaining that he and his wife had merely stumbled upon the shell formation during a beach walk. "We were walking on the beach, we went to the beach to prepare for this week and we were walking back towards the road and we saw in the sand someone had arranged shells with numbers. And Patrice, my wife, said, why would someone put an address in the sand? and I said, I dont know and we stood over and I said, I think its some kind of political message, Comey explained.

He further elaborated that his wife suggested the shell formation could be a coded message, akin to a restaurant server's code for removing an item from the menu due to lack of ingredients. Comey, however, interpreted it as a signal to leave a place.

He said, "And she said well that very clever you should take a picture of that and I did and posted it on my Instagram and though nothing more of it until I heard through her that people were saying that it was a call for some sort of assassination which is crazy!

Despite the controversy, the Secret Service's interview with Comey and his wife did not result in any charges. Comey continues to freely express his views on Trump and Kash Patel, seemingly confident in his immunity from legal repercussions.

Kash Patel, a Trump administration official, recently expressed concern to Bret Baier about the potential for copycat incidents inspired by Comey's "8647" Instagram post. Patel suggested that if Comey faced legal consequences, it might deter such behavior.

It remains uncertain whether Comey was trailed by federal or local law enforcement officers. The New York Times reported that the Secret Service had Comey followed by plainclothes law enforcement in unmarked cars and monitored his cellphone location following his controversial post.

The report further detailed that Comey and his wife were trailed from their vacation spot on the North Carolina coast, through Virginia, to their home in the Washington area. Meanwhile, federal authorities were stationed at Comey's home, awaiting his return.

Currently, Comey is under federal investigation for alleged misconduct related to the Trump-Russia investigation. As the saga continues, many are left wondering about the lack of charges and the seeming impunity of high-ranking officials. The question remains: will Comey ever face legal consequences for his actions?
