Kamala Harris's Independence Day Post Sparks Outrage!

Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee and former Vice President, encountered backlash on social media following her somber Fourth of July message, which notably excluded President Joe Biden from the accompanying photograph.

The image depicted Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, observing fireworks from what appeared to be a White House balcony during the 2024 Independence Day celebration.

In her post on X, Harris expressed, This Fourth of July, I am taking a moment to reflect. Things are hard right now. They are probably going to get worse before they get better. But I love our country and when you love something, you fight for it. Together, we will continue to fight for the ideals of our nation. The absence of Biden and First Lady Jill Biden in the frame did not go unnoticed by social media users.

According to the Daily Caller, Link Lauren, a former adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., remarked, Kamala cropping Joe out is very symbolic, while sharing a broader image that included the Bidens standing nearby. Republican National Committee spokeswoman Kiersten Pels commented, Feeling grateful we didnt end up with a President who posts things are gonna get worse on the 4th of July. Radio host Mark Simone added, Kamala sets a new record for the worst 4th of July message ever.

Harris's support among Democrats appears to be waning as the 2028 primary season approaches. A June poll conducted by Emerson College revealed that only 13% of Democrats would back Harris in the primary, a significant drop from the 37% who supported her in November. As the political landscape evolves, Harris faces the challenge of regaining her footing within her party.
