Feds Raid L.A. Home Tied To Iranian Terror Network

Federal authorities have detained two individuals at a Los Angeles residence linked to a suspected Iranian human smuggling network with ties to terrorism.

This development follows warnings from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) about an "elevated threat environment" in the United States, a consequence of the recent U.S. military action against Iran's nuclear sites.

As reported by Breitbart, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) disclosed the arrests via a post on X, highlighting that the residence served as a sanctuary for illegal aliens associated with terrorism. "CBP executed a federal search warrant today at a human smuggling hub in Los Angeles tied to national security threats," the agency stated. "Two individuals were arrested during the operation, which was led by CBPs Special Response Team with support from Border Patrol tactical units and Air and Marine Operations."

Earlier in the week, the same location saw the arrest of seven Iranian nationals, all of whom were on the FBI Terror Watchlist and linked to an Iranian human trafficking network, according to CBP. The agency alleged that the site has been "repeatedly used to harbor illegal entrants linked to terrorism."

The identities of the two individuals apprehended on Friday remain undisclosed. The operation, seemingly a response to ongoing DHS concerns post-Iran bombing, is part of a comprehensive national security initiative involving multiple federal agencies.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem emphasized the potential threats posed by the ongoing Israel-Iran conflict, including cyberattacks, violence, and anti-Semitic hate crimes. "It is our duty to keep the nation safe and informed, especially during times of conflict," she asserted, underscoring the government's commitment to national security.
