Over the weekend, Los Angeles witnessed a surge of anti-ICE demonstrations, marked by individuals hurling objects at law enforcement, defacing vehicles with graffiti, and looting businesses.
This wave of protests has since extended to Austin and Dallas, Texas, as well as San Francisco.
According to Breitbart, the unrest in Dallas saw "dozens of people" initiating a protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on "Dallas Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge" on Monday night, as reported by Fox4 News.
Meanwhile, KXAN News highlighted that by 10:08 p.m. (CDT), Austin protesters had dismantled "construction barriers, scooters and other equipment," tossing them into the street. Law enforcement in Austin had previously urged protesters to "get off the street" around 9:31 p.m., as noted by the outlet.
In San Francisco, the protests led to the arrest of approximately 154 individuals on Sunday night, as reported by SFGate.
Protesters began assembling "around 6 p.m." outside ICE headquarters, and by 7:33 p.m., authorities declared an unlawful assembly.
Mission Local detailed that the gathering, which started at 60 Sansome St., escalated into a 40-minute standoff with police, culminating in violence when some participants introduced metal barricades.
Amidst these nationwide protests, Walmart heiress Christy Walton is alleged to have funded an advertisement for No Kings protests, slated for June 14 across the United States.
The No Kings website accuses the Trump administration of having "defied" the courts, "deported Americans, disappeared people off the street," and infringing upon civil rights.
