In a recent incident at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, a man was apprehended by the Secret Service after attempting to breach the property's wall.

The individual, identified as 23-year-old Anthony Thomas Reyes, reportedly expressed a desire to "spread the gospel" to President Trump and to marry his granddaughter, Kai. This unusual episode unfolded early Tuesday morning, leading to Reyes's arrest by the Palm Beach Police Department, as indicated by booking records from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office.

According to Fox News, the police report reveals that Reyes had previously been detained over the New Year's holiday for a similar attempt to unlawfully enter Mar-a-Lago. During this latest incident, Reyes was initially charged with trespassing and held on a $1,000 bond, which was later increased to $50,000.

The possibility of federal charges looms as the investigation continues. At the time of the breach, President Trump was in Washington, D.C.

The U.S. Secret Service provided a statement to Fox News Digital, detailing the arrest: "An adult male was arrested early Tuesday morning by the Palm Beach Police Department for unlawfully entering the Mar-a-Lago Club property in Florida. Shortly after midnight, the individual scaled a perimeter fence and triggered alarms.

U.S. Secret Service personnel detained him without incident at the scene. Palm Beach Police officers responded to the scene and took the individual into custody, charging him with occupied trespassing."

This was not Reyes's first attempt to access the President's Florida residence. As reported by the Palm Beach Daily News, Reyes had been warned for trespassing at Mar-a-Lago on New Year's Eve, an occasion when President Trump was present.

The recurring nature of these incidents raises questions about the motivations behind Reyes's actions and the security measures in place at the estate.
