Did He Really Just Say That?! Dem Congressman DROPS Nazi Bomb And Sparks Instant Backlash!

In a recent press conference, Congressman Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) drew a controversial parallel between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and Nazi operatives.

This comparison was based on the ICE agents' actions of deporting illegal immigrants from the country.

According to The Blaze, Goldman's remarks were made outside the New York-Broadway Immigration Court in New York City. He claimed to have witnessed an illegal immigrant, allegedly seeking asylum, being detained by ICE agents upon leaving a hearing. Goldman passionately defended the immigrant, stating, "They're trying to do the right thing pursue the American dream."

Goldman further criticized the ICE agents, describing their actions as "Gestapo-like behavior." He argued that these plainclothes officers, wearing masks, were instilling fear in immigrants who were merely trying to follow the legal procedures for entering the country.

The congressman, born Daniel Sachs Goldman, did not shy away from using World War II-era Germany as a reference point. He likened the ICE agents' actions to those of Nazi operatives, despite the incident occurring in broad daylight. "I'm also, as a Jew, very familiar with the Gestapo in Nazi Germany and other forms of secret law enforcement in Russia and elsewhere that used fear and intimidation and, under the cover of night, under the cover of masks in order to terrorize people that they did not like," Goldman explained.

Goldman recounted observing the unknown male have his case dismissed by a judge, only to be arrested by ICE agents upon exiting the courtroom. He expressed concern over the presence of numerous ICE agents at routine appearances, which he claimed were unnecessary and intimidating.

The congressman also questioned the need for the agents to wear masks, arguing that if their actions were "legitimate" and "aboveboard," there would be no need for such measures.

In response to Goldman's criticism, Border czar Tom Homan explained on BlazeTV that the agents wore masks due to the threat of being doxxed. "Their pictures are being put on telephone poles in major cities. These officers are under great threat," Homan clarified.

Goldman's comments were met with backlash from conservative circles. Reporter and social media coordinator Yanky Pollak criticized Goldman as "another radical Democrat who will prioritize illegal aliens over Americans."

Investigative journalist Oren Levy, who has reported on the illegal immigration crisis in New York City for years, also expressed disappointment in Goldman's remarks. He argued that "ICE agents are simply doing their jobs," and that their work is made more challenging by current open-border policies. Levy suggested that if ICE had proper access to jails to remove migrants already convicted of crimes, they wouldnt need to resort to showing up at courthouses.

While Goldman argues for a more compassionate approach towards immigrants seeking the American dream, critics maintain that ICE agents are simply upholding the law and protecting American citizens.
