Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, did not hold back in her critique of President Donald Trump's recent address at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

During an appearance on MSNBC, Crockett was asked by host Alex Witt to share her thoughts on the President's speech delivered to the graduating class of 2025.

According to Fox News, Crockett expressed her belief that the speech highlighted Trump's unsuitability for the role of commander in chief, likening his delivery to that of someone who had "broken out of the insane asylum." She remarked, "He literally sounds like someone who has broken out of the insane asylum," adding that his erratic speech suggested he might benefit from ADHD medication.

Crockett further contended that the graduates, military personnel, and the nation at large "deserve better," urging Republicans to scrutinize Trump's mental fitness for office. "It is time for Republicans to start calling him out and start questioning his mental acuity and whether or not he is equipped to serve mentally," she asserted.

President Trump addressed the 1,002 cadets at West Point, where he criticized past foreign policy decisions and unveiled plans for a $1 trillion military expansion. This event marked his inaugural military commencement speech of his second term.

The ongoing feud between Crockett and Trump has been marked by sharp exchanges, with Crockett previously referring to Trump as a "buffoon" and a "mofo" on her social media platform, X. In retaliation, Trump labeled Crockett as "low IQ" and ridiculed the notion of her representing the future of the Democratic Party.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the tension between Crockett and Trump underscores the deep divisions within the American political system. The discourse surrounding Trump's mental and criminal qualifications remains a contentious topic, with calls for accountability and introspection from both sides of the aisle.
