FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino remain resolute on a contentious issue that has captivated public discourse: the circumstances surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's demise.
During an appearance on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo, the two senior FBI officials tackled the enduring speculation about Epstein's 2019 death in a federal prison cell. When Patel asserted his belief that Epstein took his own life, Bartiromo swiftly countered.
"You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide. People dont believe it," Bartiromo remarked, reflecting the widespread skepticism driven by Epstein's influential connections and the peculiar breaches in jail protocol on the night of his death.
According to the Daily Caller, Patel remained steadfast in his position. "They have a right to their opinion," he stated. "But as someone whos been a public defender, a prosecutor, whos worked in that prison system and been inside segregated housingyou know a suicide when you see one. And thats what that was."
