'Cryin' Chuck' TRIES To Blame Trump For Brooklyn Bridge CrashSee It Here!

In a shocking incident, a Mexican Navy tall ship crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge, resulting in two fatalities and at least 22 injuries.

The vessel, carrying a crew of 277, collided with the bridge due to what authorities have attributed to mechanical issues. However, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has taken an unexpected approach to the incident, using it as a platform to criticize President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk.

According to RedState, Schumer has been vocal about his concerns regarding the impact of Trump and DOGE on water traffic control. He has also accused them of meddling with U.S. Coast Guard staffing.

"With the Brooklyn Bridge strike last night: Im fighting for answers about whether Trump and DOGE have impacted water traffic control. We know theyve been meddling with U.S. Coast Guard staffing," Schumer stated.

He further added, "Trump relieved Admiral Linda Fagan as Commandant of the USCG, and that position is still vacant."

Schumer's allegations extend to the U.S. Coast Guard's Vehicle Traffic Service, which he claims has been understaffed due to a hiring freeze. "And the hiring freeze has limited the ability for the USCG to staff up the Vehicle Traffic Service, thats their traffic control operation that acts like Air Traffic Control but on water," he said. Schumer has called for immediate action to ensure national security, infrastructure protection, and public safety.

However, these allegations have been met with skepticism and criticism. The NY Post has termed Schumer's claims as "bizarre," pointing out that there is no evidence to suggest that DOGE or the Coast Guard had any role in the accident. Critics argue that Schumer is exploiting a tragic incident for political gain, a move they deem as distasteful.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has also responded to Schumer's allegations, vehemently denying his claims. "Minority Leader Schumers accusations that a hiring freeze led to the U.S. Coast Guards Vessel Traffic Services not being adequately staffed are FALSE.

The U.S. Coast Guard has been fully supported and been exempt from hiring freezes," the DHS stated. They further clarified that the incident had no connection with VTS services and urged Schumer to verify his facts before misleading the public.

Schumer's accusations have also been met with backlash on social media, with many users expressing their disgust at his attempt to politicize the incident. Critics argue that Schumer's obsession with Trump has led him to distort facts and exploit tragic situations for political gain.

While the investigation into the cause of the accident continues, it is clear that the incident has become a political battleground. As the debate rages on, it is crucial to remember the lives lost and the individuals injured in this tragic event. The focus should be on ensuring such incidents do not occur in the future, rather than using them as fodder for political disputes.
