Guess WHO Foots The Bill For Kamala And Doug's LAVISH Partying With The Elite?!?!

In a recent series of public appearances, former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, have been seen mingling with their familiar crowd of elites.

As reported by RedState, Harris was spotted at the notoriously extravagant Met Gala on Monday.

The former Vice President graced the gala, an exclusive event with a ticket price of $75,000, in a floor-length black and white cap gown. While her attire was more conservative than that of other attendees, it failed to impress, falling short of the fashion icon status that mainstream media seems eager to bestow upon her.

In a surprising move, Harris, accompanied by Emhoff, made an appearance at the Met Gala ahead of a Democratic National Committee fundraiser. She was dressed in a custom black-and-white gown by Off-White, a luxury label. The gown, an elegant silk silhouette with an asymmetrical cape sleeve and a long scarf, was designed to evoke a sense of timelessness.

Harris was invited to the event by Vogue editor-in-chief and Met Gala co-chair Anna Wintour, according to a spokesperson for Harris. Since her defeat in the presidential election last November, Harris has kept a low profile, making only a few high-profile appearances, including speeches at the Leading Women Defined Summit and Emerge Gala, an event that supports an organization dedicated to recruiting and training women for political office.

Before rubbing shoulders with Wintour and her associates, Harris and Emhoff decided to unwind. Accompanied by her taxpayer-funded Secret Service agents, the couple arrived in New York on Sunday to visit an exclusive city bar.

Harris and Emhoff were seen at one of New York City's most exclusive bars on Sunday night, accompanied by her Secret Service detail and a convoy of up to seven SUVs. The couple was spotted leaving the celebrity hotspot, The Polo Bar on East 55th Street, ahead of Harris's expected appearance at the Met Gala. At the Ralph Lauren-owned bar, where reservations are required a month in advance, the couple posed for pictures and mingled with the elite crowd.

Harris and Emhoff seem to be capitalizing on their former high-profile status, with taxpayers footing the bill. As per the New York Post, former Vice Presidents can retain their Secret Service protection for up to six months post-office. With less than two weeks until May 20, the couple appears to be taking full advantage of this provision. While they may continue to leverage their White House status in the future, taxpayers will soon be relieved of the financial burden.

Videos from outside the bar show several Secret Service agents accompanying the couple, with up to seven SUVs stationed outside. Typically, a former Vice President is entitled to a few agents for personal protection.

Despite her attempts to reposition herself as a political candidate, Harris's actions have raised eyebrows. Reports suggest that she is considering a run for the governorship of California in 2026. However, her conspicuous use of taxpayer-funded Secret Service for personal outings has raised questions about her judgment.

While her actions may not paint her in the best light, they could inadvertently benefit the conservative cause. Given California's recent political trends, Harris's potential candidacy could pave the way for the state's first Republican governor in decades. In this light, Harris's questionable decisions and exclusive appearances may not be entirely unwelcome.
