BREAKING NEWS: Kristi Noem Calls Out AOC's Latest MoveTime For The DOJ To Step In!

In a recent appearance on "Hannity," Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem expressed her belief that the Department of Justice (DOJ) should investigate Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her remarks directed at illegal migrants.

Noem's comments come in response to a town hall event held by Ocasio-Cortez in Jackson Heights, Queens, where she challenged border czar Tom Homan to "come" for her, intensifying a public dispute that has been simmering since February.

According to the Daily Caller, Fox News host Sean Hannity raised the question of whether Ocasio-Cortez's previous statements could be interpreted as "aiding and abetting" illegal activities and if the DOJ should "look into this situation."

Noem responded affirmatively, stating, "I think the Department of Justice absolutely should look into this situation." She further criticized public officials and judges who, in her view, have facilitated illegal immigration and protected criminals, asserting the need to uphold the law.

The controversy traces back to a virtual event hosted by Ocasio-Cortez on February 12, titled "Know Your Rights With ICE," where she provided guidance to illegal migrants on handling encounters with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. This prompted Homan to caution Ocasio-Cortez, revealing to Fox News that he had engaged with the DOJ to assess whether her actions impeded the Trump administration's immigration policies.

The ongoing exchange between Ocasio-Cortez and Homan has seen both parties publicly challenging each other, with Ocasio-Cortez even inquiring if she was under DOJ investigation. Noem, reflecting on the broader implications, remarked, "The American people are sick of these people abusing our system to try to promote an agenda. Remember, the Democrats are using fear to control people. Theyre out there motivating people by fear, and theyre standing alongside known terrorists in order to endanger our future."

Efforts by Noem and Homan to enforce President Donald Trump's immigration policies have faced significant opposition from Democrats. In particular, the legal case of Kilmar Armando Abrego-Garcia, an illegal migrant allegedly linked to the MS-13 gang, has sparked controversy. Some Democrats have even undertaken taxpayer-funded trips to El Salvador to advocate for his return to the United States, highlighting the deep divisions over immigration policy and enforcement.
