Trump Reveals WHO Is To Blame For STALLING Ukraine/Russia Deal!

In the ongoing negotiations to resolve the Ukraine War, President Donald Trump has expressed his surprise at the unexpected difficulty in reaching an agreement with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Breitbart, Trump remains hopeful for a resolution, citing the urgent need to halt the loss of human life.

President Trump has been vocal about his desire to broker a peace deal in the Ukraine War. His recent comments from the Oval Office come after several days of pessimistic remarks from key figures, suggesting that the negotiations are teetering on the edge of failure. Amidst daily accusations between Russia and Ukraine of sabotaging the peace process, and a significant Russian attack on Kyiv that resulted in at least eight fatalities, Trump singled out Zelensky for his reluctance to compromise.

On Tuesday, Zelensky rejected a proposed peace deal in which Russia would retain control of Crimea in exchange for returning several Ukrainian provinces and ending the ongoing conflict. Zelensky remained firm in his stance, stating, "There is nothing to talk about it is our land, the land of the Ukrainian people."

Trump responded to Zelensky's comments on social media, reminding him that "Crimea was lost years ago" during the Obama administration and that his remarks were "very harmful to the peace negotiations." Speaking from the Oval Office on Wednesday evening, Trump expressed his belief that Russia is ready for a deal. He said, "I will say I think that Russia is ready, and a lot of people said Russia wanted to go for the whole thing, I think we have a deal with Russia."

However, Trump noted that securing a deal with Zelensky has proven more challenging than anticipated. Despite this, he remains hopeful, stating, "I think we have a deal with both, I hope they do it this is about a lot of humanity."

Trump emphasized the urgency of reaching a resolution, highlighting the devastating human cost of the conflict. He said, "I just hope he gets get this thing solved, because were losing about 5,000 soldiers being killed every week, approximately theyre Russian and Ukrainian, theyre not Americans. Theyre Russian but theyre people, they are human beings they have families."

Peace negotiations, involving both the U.S. and Russia, as well as the warring nations and Ukraine's European allies, have been ongoing for months. However, there are indications that the U.S. may be prepared to withdraw from the process unless significant progress is made soon.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio voiced his frustration with the unproductive meetings on the Ukraine War peace process last week. He suggested that he would no longer attend these meetings unless they promised to yield results. Rubio said, "If theyre serious about peace, either side or both, then were going to help if its just a meeting to have another meeting, well figure out whether that will happen Im wiling to come myself if the meeting is going to be productive."

Vice President JD Vance echoed Rubio's sentiments, stating, "Weve issued a very explicit proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians, and its time for them to either say yes, or for the United States to walk away from this process."

One potential step towards a U.S.-Russian rapprochement is a proposed in-person meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. While Trump confirmed that such a meeting is likely to occur soon, he dismissed the idea of it taking place in Saudi Arabia, where many Ukraine War discussions have been hosted. Trump stated, "I will be meeting with him [in Saudi] Its possible but most likely not. I think well meet with him shortly thereafter."

As the negotiations continue, the world watches and waits, hoping for a peaceful resolution that will end the suffering and loss of life in the Ukraine War.
