Joni Ernst Points Out The OBVIOUS, And It's IRONY At Its Best!

Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa recently made an appearance on the FOX Business Network, where she discussed her ongoing initiatives with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

During the segment, Ernst highlighted a rather ironic situation involving federal employees. She noted that some of these workers, who were mandated to return to their offices, ironically protested the very act of having to be physically present at their workplaces.

This peculiar protest seems unlikely to garner public sympathy, especially considering the millions of Americans who have consistently commuted to their jobs throughout the pandemic without the option of remote work.

As reported by the Gateway Pundit, Ernst shared her observations with Fox News' Maria Bartiromo, stating, "We actually had workers that showed up at the office to protest having to come back to work at the office." She further emphasized the importance of the work being done by DOGE and her SQUEAL initiative, which she has championed for a decade. Ernst expressed gratitude for President Trump's leadership and the efforts of DOGE in addressing such inefficiencies within the federal workforce.

President Trump, in one of his initial directives, mandated the return of federal employees to their offices. This order required all executive branch departments and agencies to terminate remote work arrangements and ensure employees resumed in-person duties at their respective stations. The directive allowed for necessary exemptions, but the overarching goal was clear: a return to traditional office work.

For those within the federal government who find themselves unwilling to comply with these directives, the solution is straightforward: seek employment elsewhere. The expectation is that government employees adhere to the policies set forth by their leadership, ensuring that the operations of the federal government continue smoothly and efficiently. The return to in-person work is not just a matter of policy but a step towards restoring the traditional work environment that many Americans have never left.
