During a recent episode of ABC's "The View," Sunny Hostin expressed grave concerns about the potential implications of a second term for President Donald Trump, describing it as an "existential crisis.

".

She urged Democratic lawmakers to be prepared to "fight and die" in defense of their principles. Hostin's comments came in the wake of ten Democrats siding with Republicans to censure Rep. Al Green (D-TX) for his interruption during the President's congressional address.

According to Breitbart, Hostin criticized her party, stating, "They dont know how to fight and be part of an opposition party. Representative Green gave them the example. The Democrats are not meeting the moment. It is very clear that Medicaid is on the table. It is very clear that Social Security is on the table. It is very clear that people will die."

She invoked the legacy of the Baby Boomers and the civil rights generation, who were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for their rights, contrasting them with the current Congress, which she believes is failing to rise to the occasion. "This is an existential crisis," she emphasized.

Hostin further admonished her party, declaring, "They should be ashamed of themselves. They all should have walked out with him." Meanwhile, co-host Ana Navarro offered a different perspective, advocating for decorum in legislative proceedings. "I like civility in Congress and I think that when you are in Congress, we are not at a WWE wrestling match. This is not the House of Commons. This is the U.S. Capitol," Navarro remarked.

She referenced past incidents, such as Republican Congressman Joe Wilson's outburst during President Barack Obama's State of the Union address, to illustrate the ongoing challenges of maintaining civility in political discourse.
