DJ Daniel, a courageous 13-year-old battling brain cancer, has been honored as an honorary Secret Service agent, a title bestowed upon him during President Donald Trump's address to Congress.
Daniel, who has long aspired to meet Trump, recently fulfilled this dream by visiting the Oval Office. "I wanted to see Donald Trump in real life and now it's actually came true," he shared during an appearance on Steve Bannons War Room.
As reported by The Post Millennial, Daniel's visit to the White House was marked by a heartfelt exchange with Trump. In a note he handed to the former president, Daniel expressed his admiration, writing, Donald Trump is the best President of the United States of America.
During an interview with War Room co-host and White House correspondent Natalie Winters, Daniel was asked for advice he might offer. His response was spirited: Please stop being mean to President Trump cause if I see you being mean to him, Im coming after you If youre a Democrat being mean to President Trump, Im on your bumper.
Daniel's visit to the White House followed his attendance at Trump's State of the Union address, where the president publicly acknowledged his valiant fight against brain cancer. Trump praised Daniel, saying, Joining us in the gallery tonight is a young man who truly loves our police. His name is DJ Daniel. He is 13 years old. And he has always dreamed of becoming a police officer himself. But in 2018, DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer. The doctors gave him five months at most to live. That was more than six years ago. Since that time, DJ and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true. And DJ has been sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer.
In a touching gesture, Trump further honored Daniel by instructing the new Secret Service Director, Sean Curran, to officially appoint him as an agent of the United States Secret Service. "Tonight, DJ, we're going to do you the biggest honor of them all," Trump declared. "Thank you, DJ."
Daniel's story is a testament to resilience and the power of dreams, underscoring the importance of recognizing and supporting those who face life's toughest battles with courage and determination.
