Caught In The Crossfire: THIS Ski Resort Protest Is Making National Headlines!

In a scene marked by tension and fervor, a multitude of protesters assembled at a ski resort in Warren, Vermont, as Vice President JD Vance arrived with his family.

The demonstrators, brandishing signs in support of Ukraine, confronted Vance following his contentious exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

As reported by The Post Millennial, the protestors held placards with messages such as "traitor" and "Nazi scum," alongside others that read "Go ski in Russia," "Trump serves Putin," "Theocracy is not freedom," and "Stand with Ukraine." Despite the uproar, a local skier voiced his exasperation with the protests, telling Fox News, Those people protesting Vance are f***ing morons.

The Oval Office confrontation between Vance and Zelensky revolved around the United States' role in Ukraine's ongoing conflict with Russia. The dialogue intensified when Zelensky attempted to withdraw from a mineral rights agreement that Trump proposed as a precursor to a larger peace initiative. Vance addressed Zelensky directly, stating, "Mr. President, with respect, I think it's disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media." He further criticized the Ukrainian leader for conscripting citizens due to manpower shortages, urging him to express gratitude for the U.S. efforts to resolve the conflict.

Vance's remarks underscored his disapproval of Zelensky's actions, particularly his campaigning for the opposition in Pennsylvania. "Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who's trying to save your country," Vance implored.

The incident has sparked a wave of protests from left-wing activists demanding greater U.S. support for Ukraine. These demonstrations against Vance coincide with comments from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who recently called on Democrats to "fight" the Trump administration's policies "in the streets." Jeffries emphasized the need to protect everyday Americans from what he described as an "extreme MAGA Republican agenda" focused on benefiting wealthy donors and corporations at the expense of working-class citizens.

Jeffries declared, "We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. Were going to fight it in the streets." In response, the White House has urged Jeffries to issue an apology for his statements.
