The Deadline Is Set: Trump Administration's BOLD Move To Reshape Military Communications

Written by Published

The Trump administration has issued a directive to the Pentagon, instructing the removal of all Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) content from military websites.

This move reflects a broader effort to align military communications with the administration's priorities.

As reported by One America News, a recent memo outlines the requirement for the Department of Defense to eliminate or temporarily conceal DEI-related content that was published during the Biden administration. The deadline for this action is set for March 5th. The directive further mandates the removal of materials promoting critical race theory and gender ideology. The memo states, "In alignment with President Trumps Executive Orders and Secretary Hegseths directives, this memorandum mandates a digital content refresh across all DoD public platforms."

It specifies that by March 5, 2025, all relevant content, including news articles, photos, and videos, must be archived or removed. The Defense Media Activity is tasked with assisting in the systematic removal from platforms such as DVIDS and AFPIMS, while individual components are responsible for ensuring compliance.

A public acknowledgment of the content removal is to be posted on social media and other platforms, with any exceptions or extension requests due by noon on March 5, 2025.

Officials assert that these changes are intended to preserve the integrity of military communication channels, ensuring they remain transparent and professional. This directive underscores the administration's commitment to traditional values and a streamlined approach to military communications, reflecting a conservative stance on issues of diversity and inclusion within the armed forces.
