WATCH: Tucker Carlson Responds After Dan Crenshaw Is Caught On Hot MicYIKES!

In a recent turn of events, Texas Republican Representative Dan Crenshaw has found himself at the center of a storm following remarks that appeared to threaten conservative commentator Tucker Carlson.

The controversy erupted after Crenshaw's interview with Steve Edginton, a U.S. correspondent for GB News, during a conference in London. During the discussion, Crenshaw criticized Carlson's stance against further U.S. aid to Ukraine, stating, "Tucker doesnt know what hes talking about," and dismissing Carlson's opinions by saying, "Tucker likes to visit Moscow and talk about how great the grocery stores are, so I dont really take his advice very seriously.".

According to Western Journal, the situation escalated when Edginton disclosed on X that Crenshaw allegedly threatened Carlson post-interview. Crenshaw, however, denied the accusation with a dismissive "lol, no" on social media. Despite GB News initially publishing the footage of Crenshaw's remarks, the video was later removed. Nonetheless, journalist Nick Sortor managed to capture a copy, which showed Crenshaw saying, "If I ever meet him, Ill f***ing kill him," and reinforcing his statement with, "Im not joking. Hes the worst person."

The removal of the original footage by GB News remains unexplained, leaving many to speculate about the reasons behind this decision. In response to the incident, Carlson extended an invitation to Crenshaw for an interview, challenging him with, "Why dont you come sit for an interview and well see how you do?" Carlson even offered to provide his address for the meeting. Meanwhile, Elon Musk also commented on the situation, questioning, "Why is Crenshaw homicidal regarding Tucker?"

Carlson has previously criticized Crenshaw, accusing him of prioritizing foreign conflicts over domestic issues. During a speaking tour last year, Carlson labeled Crenshaw as "the single most left-wing, truly left-wing, member of Congress Ive ever met personally," adding that Crenshaw "has no interest in the United States whatsoever and does not even pretend."

Adding to the critique, talk radio host Jesse Kelly, who was present at the event with Carlson, ridiculed Crenshaw's public image. Kelly remarked, "Throw on some cowboy boots, and you buy a shotgun and go out there and take a picture shooting at some pheasants, and you learn how to speak the lingo a little bit," suggesting that Crenshaw's persona is a facade to gain power. Kelly further criticized Crenshaw for undermining conservative efforts, stating, "Our controlled opposition problem is so bad."

This incident highlights the ongoing tensions within the conservative movement, as figures like Carlson and Crenshaw clash over the direction of U.S. foreign policy and the role of American leadership on the global stage. As these debates continue, the conservative base remains divided, grappling with the balance between traditional values and the complexities of modern geopolitics.
