Kristi Noem Makes HUGE Announcement About DHS Leaks!

In a recent appearance on Fox News, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed that her department has made significant strides in identifying the individuals responsible for leaking sensitive internal information.

This revelation comes in the wake of a leaked memo detailing an impending large-scale Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid in Los Angeles, which Noem had previously attributed to "corrupt" FBI agents.

According to the Daily Caller, Noem's announcement on Fox News' "Hannity" followed her earlier suspicions of internal corruption within the FBI. The secretary did not provide specific details regarding the number of leakers apprehended or their agency affiliations. However, she made it clear that the department is making progress in its investigation.

"I have found some leakers. We are continuing to get more. They will be fired. There will be consequences," Noem stated emphatically. She further underscored the gravity of the situation, saying, "And, remember, when they leak information to the press in order to blow an op, they are putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy."

Noem also shed light on the investigative methods employed by her department in their pursuit of the leakers. "We have used every tactic that we have. If you remember, we talked just last week about how Im using polygraphs to go after and to really interview these folks because we are a national security agency," she said. She also mentioned the use of email and communication surveillance in their investigations.

The secretary expressed her dismay at the actions of these bureaucrats, who she believes are jeopardizing national security for their own protection. "Its amazing how these bureaucrats who have an agenda to stop the work that were doing to bring safety to America, how they will sell each other down the river if its just to protect themselves," she said.

The leaked memo came to light amidst a shift in immigration policy under President Donald Trump, who has reversed several Biden-Harris administration policies. These changes have allowed ICE agents to arrest "criminal aliens," including rapists and murderers, leading to protests in sanctuary cities like Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Times first reported on the leaked memo on February 7, detailing a planned large-scale ICE raid in the Los Angeles area. In response to a question from host Sean Hannity about whether leaking such information constituted a crime, Noem responded, "Absolutely. When they are breaking the law, we are prosecuting and holding them accountable to it."

Noem also took the opportunity to express her support for law enforcement officers. "We honor the work that you do. We will take care of your family. We will take care of you. And well go after those that threaten your lives by leaking this type of information," she said.
