Top Biden Official Tells Us When The 'Meltdown' Of Began...

In the wake of President Donald Trump's 2024 election victory, the Democratic Party's reaction has been nothing short of a spectacle, with the party seemingly in a state of perpetual turmoil.

This is a narrative that has been repeatedly revisited, each time with the expectation that it would be the last. However, the Democrats' inability to grasp the situation continues to fuel the narrative.

A recent incident involving a high-ranking advisor to President Biden has added another layer to this ongoing saga. The advisor has pointed fingers at the Democratic Party for the decision of the 82-year-old President to withdraw from his ill-conceived reelection bid. This comes despite the President's evident cognitive decline and lackluster performance.

During a discussion at Harvard University, Mike Donilon, a former senior advisor to Biden, made a rather delusional statement. He said, "Now, lots of people have terrible debates. Usually, the party doesnt lose its mind, but thats what happened here. It melted down."

However, it's worth noting that Biden's performance was more than just a "terrible debate." His visible confusion and incoherence were alarming, and this sentiment was shared by millions of Americans, including many Democrats. Even media outlets known for their liberal leanings, such as CNN and the BBC, labeled Biden's performance as "disastrous" and "incoherent."

Stephen Collinson, a senior reporter at CNN, wrote, "If Joe Biden loses Novembers election, history will record that it took just 10 minutes to destroy a presidency. It was clear a political disaster was about to unfold as soon as the 81-year-old commander in chief stiffly shuffled on stage in Atlanta."

Democrats who refuse to acknowledge this reality are simply in denial. They clung to their faltering candidate for far too long, to the detriment of their party.

Thomas Friedman, a columnist for The New York Times and a staunch Biden supporter, expressed his disappointment following the debate. He wrote, "I cannot remember a more heartbreaking moment in American presidential campaign politics in my lifetime precisely because of what it revealed: Joe Biden, a good man and a good president, has no business running for re-election."

Despite this, Donilon, who has known Biden for 40 years, criticized the Democratic Party for acknowledging what he himself could not.

According to RedState, Donilon continued to criticize the Democratic Party for abandoning Biden. He said, "They will say theyre worried about Bidens age, but theyll also say something else. They were really worried about Trump. They were worried about the fact he said he wouldnt accept the results of the election. They were worried that he said, I had nothing to do with Jan. 6. The sense from him was that he was not on the side of people."

Donilon's comments, while somewhat confusing, underscore the fact that those who recognized that Biden was unfit for reelection were correct.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party, which counts Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris among its ranks, continues to react dramatically to everything Trump says and does. Their most recent uproar over Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is perhaps their most theatrical performance yet. This ongoing spectacle only serves to highlight the party's inability to effectively respond to the challenges posed by their conservative counterparts.
