Trump And Musk Announce Unexpected Mission: You Won't Believe Where They're Headed Next!

In a recent announcement, President Donald Trump revealed plans to visit Fort Knox alongside tech mogul Elon Musk.

The purpose of this visit, as Trump humorously noted, is to verify the presence of the nation's gold reserves. "We're also going to Fort Knox. I'm going to go with Elon. Because we want to see if the gold is still there," Trump stated.

He further jested, "Wouldn't it be terrible if we opened it up and there was no gold there, honey. So we're gonna open those doors. We're gonna take a look, and if there's 27 tons of gold, we'll be very happy."

This announcement follows skepticism from Musk and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) regarding the current status of the gold reserves. According to The Post Millennial, Trump made these remarks during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), where he was introduced by Matthew and Mercedes Schlapp. His entrance was marked by the patriotic anthem "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood, a staple at his events.

During his address, Trump took the opportunity to criticize government bureaucrats and left-wing activists, accusing them of undermining the nation's prosperity. "For years, Washington was controlled by a sinister group of radical left Marxists, warmongers and corrupt special interest who drained our wealth, attacked our liberties, obliterated our borders and sucked our country dry, not any longer," he declared. Trump also boasted about his high approval ratings, citing a YouGov poll that purportedly shows 70 percent of Americans believe he is fulfilling his promises for a second term.

The President expressed gratitude towards various GOP officials, international leaders, and congressional representatives, acknowledging their contributions to his administration. He highlighted key appointments, including Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Director of Health and Human Services.

"Together, we've achieved more in four weeks than most administrations achieve in four years," Trump asserted, listing accomplishments such as ending catch and release, reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy, and signing an order to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants.

Trump did not shy away from critiquing his successor, President Joe Biden, whom he labeled as the worst president in U.S. history. He quipped that former President Jimmy Carter might have died a "happy man" knowing Biden would surpass him in that regard.

Additionally, Trump discussed his efforts to curb government spending, stating, "I imposed an immediate federal hiring freeze, a federal regulation freeze, and a foreign aid freeze." He also touched on Elon Musk's involvement with DOGE and highlighted issues of fraud and waste within the government.

As Trump continues to assert his influence within the Republican Party, his remarks at CPAC underscore his ongoing commitment to conservative principles and his readiness to challenge the current administration's policies.
